Holiday Inn Fareham

I recently had the opportunity to visit the Holiday Inn Fareham, Hampshire. I was there to view the ceremony spaces they have available and meet the lovely, Samara Thompson, the venue’s fantastic Wedding Co-Ordinator.

As I walked into the large foyer I was greeted by a smiley receptionist followed by the friendly Samara. The venue is light and bright and everyone I met was friendly and happy. This can really help when setting the tone for your big day.

Weddings at the Holiday Inn Fareham

There are some great wedding packages available and different room options too. One option is the large ceremony room which can accommodate up to 110 guests. However, this room can also be divided, one side can accommodate up to 60 guests while the other can accommodate up to 40 guests. There are also two other smaller ceremony rooms for more intimate ceremonies.

If you want to project pictures or videos before or during your ceremony this is an option. Using either the full size large room or the larger of the divided sides the screen can be utilised. This can be a great way of keeping your guests entertained while they await your arrival. It can help build up the emotions and excitement even more.

There is potential for guests to be able to use the courtyard area for the drinks reception while the room is turned around. There is also a beautiful, secluded garden which is perfect for wedding photos and some lovely outside moments. The garden even has a cute wooden arch which can have flowers or decorations added for some photographs.

The team at the Holiday Inn Fareham are there to help make your special event run as smoothly as possible and be just what you want. They can even have someone on hand during the wedding ceremony to take charge of the music to make sure it all goes well.

Celebrant Led Weddings

The Holiday Inn, Fareham holds a marriage license and so you can have a legal marriage done by a registrar. However, Independent Celebrant led weddings offer much more personalisation as registrars are limited to the script they are allowed to say within the service and it will be the same script for all other registrar weddings.

If you decide, however, to have an Independent Celebrant led wedding you’ll have a totally unique and personalised wedding. A Celebrant led wedding will include your love story and it will have been written all about you and for you. If you choose me as your Independent Celebrant your wedding ceremony can look and feel exactly as you want. You may choose to to include a religious or spiritual elements, for example, I can do that for you. If you would like a symbolic ceremony within your celebration, such as a handfasting, sand ceremony, crystal ceremony etc. we can do that too.
